GAJAR KA HALWA



Gajar ka halwa
Recipe in English:

Ingredients:
-Carrots 1 kg (grated)
-Powder Milk 3 tbsp
-Sugar 1 & ½ cup or to taste
-Salt ¼ tsp
-Khoya half kg
-Ghee (desi) ½ cup or as required
-Whole Cardamom 8 to 9 or powder 1 tsp
-Almonds as required

Directions:
-Rinse, peel and grate carrots.
-In a pot add ghee and whole cardamom
-Add grated carrots and heat up on high flame for 9-10 minutes.-
-When carrort water dry add sugar and salt and keep stirring and cook 5-6 mintues
-Cover and put it on simmer 9-10 mitues  on medium low flame
-then uncover and now cook on high falme and keep stirring in between 4-5 mintes
-Add try milk powder and keep stiring one minute
-Then add khoya and mix well ,and turn off the flame
-Gajar halwa is ready.

Recipe in Urdu:

Ingredients:
-Gajar 1 kg (grated)
-Dry milk powder 3 tbsp
-Cheeni 1 & ½ cup or to taste
-Salt ¼ tsp
-Khoya half kg
-Ghee (desi) ½ cup ya hasb e zaroorat
-Sabit Elaichi 8 to 9 or powder 1 tsp
-Badam as required
Directions:
-Gajar ko dho ker cheel lein aur kadukash ker lein.
-Pot mein ghee aur Sabit Elaichi daly
-Phir gajaron ko dalay aur 9-10 mintes tak high flame pay pakay
-Jab gajaron ka pani dry ho jay to cheeni aur namak daly aur pakay 5-6 minutes
-Phir dam ke anch pay cover kar k rakh day 9-10 minutes
-Ab tez annch per 4-5 minutes paka lein aur chamcha chalatay rahein.
-ab dry milk powder dal k 1 mint aur pakay
-Gajar halwa tayyar hai.
-badam dal k serve karay
